Fun to go down and see the Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier one last time on her final voyage! Off to Texas to be scrapped! Beautiful pier, easy parking (go to a pay station, use your credit card.) Nice walking and bike paths along the beach. (Also being used by rollerskaters.) Wish there was more info regarding the small Islands off the pier tho'.

Just a cool place to hang out, fish or go for the occasional jog. I actually run down this pier and hit the steps that are down the way a bit. Not to mention Belmont shore is a stones throw away for good shopping and great eats.

So we met up with a group and took a paddle around a couple of the islands.. was a great time.. parked right at the beach and it made loading and unloading a breeze... I've been here before and had beers.. never had a problem and yes there are some homeless around but don't make yourself a victim and you won't be...

I was with my wife In long Beach. And we rode E Bikes for the first time down the path from beginning to end. What a fun day

Visited this parking lot after we drove from Utah to let the kids play and see the ocean for the first time. It was beautiful and right at sunset. The beach was a bit eroded??? We visited after the atmospheric river happened and low tide. It was still a nice place for our kids to let their energy out. We walked the pier as well and it was freezing!! Do not recommend waking in the evening while the winds blowing off the water the first part of March.

Free parking! Supper close to the pier. Clean parking lot and seamed pretty safe, I felt pretty comfortable parking our car here. Good chance of seeing dolphins here. Also close to a few restaurants you can walk to, or grab a pizza and eat on the pier/beach.

The parking lot and pier are clean and well maintained. If you park, pay immediately before you leave the area or you will get a ticket. Fishing is good from pier and no fishing license is required as long as you fish from the pier.
